Microsoft Software Centre is an application that allows you to select available software to download to your computer on-demand. ITS Client Support Services will make applications available through Software Centre that are license free or have campus-wide licenses for staff computers and laptops.
If you use an ITS Client Support Services supported workstation or laptop that runs Windows 7, you can install specific software using Microsoft Software Centre. Below are instructions to help you install software automatically to your computer.
Launch Software Center
You can launch Software Centre from the Desktop icon or Go to Start -> All Programs
|Click Microsoft System Center -> Configuration Manager -> Software Center|
After Software Centre is launched, you will see a list of available applications.
To install multiple programs, tick the check boxes for multiple applications you’d like to install and click “Install Selected” button at the bottom right corner.
