ACADEMIC + COLLABORATIVE TECHNOLOGIES (ACT)

Academic and Collaborative Technologies (ACT) is a partnership between the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation and Information Technology Services (Chief Information Officer Portfolio) at the University of Toronto.

ACT provides strategic, tactical and operational leadership in the development and implementation of enterprise services and systems that support the academic, collaboration, and communications missions to the university as a whole.

ACT works with instructors, academic administrators, librarians, students and professional staff (including teaching support units, instructional technologists and divisional IT staff) to advance the University’s mission and in particular, its commitment to teaching, enhanced learning opportunities, and research.
